Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Surabaya – Mount Bromo

Your journey begins with a private pick-up from Surabaya (airport, hotel, or train station). From there, you'll be transported in a comfortable private vehicle to the Bromo area—approximately a 3–4 hour drive.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel or homestay in the Bromo region. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a 4WD jeep tour to explore the Bromo caldera, stopping at viewpoints with panoramic views of Mount Batok and the Sea of Sand.

Before nightfall, enjoy a warm Indonesian dinner and rest early in preparation for the sunrise trek the next morning.

Day 2: Sunrise at Mount Bromo – Transfer to Banyuwangi

Wake up early—around 3:00 AM—for a magical sunrise experience at Mount Penanjakan, one of the best viewpoints in East Java. Watch as the first rays of light illuminate the volcanic landscape in dramatic shades of orange and gold.

After sunrise, drive down to the Sea of Sand and start your short trek to the Bromo crater. The hike is about 250 meters (approx. 30–45 minutes) and leads to the edge of the active crater with sulfur fumes and spectacular scenery all around.

After breakfast and check-out, begin the scenic drive (approx. 6–7 hours) to Banyuwangi, the gateway to Mount Ijen. You’ll pass through lush countryside, coffee plantations, and local villages along the way.

Overnight stay in Banyuwangi.

Day 3: Ijen Crater Blue Fire Hike – Return to Surabaya

At around 1:00 AM, depart from your hotel to begin your Ijen Blue Fire adventure. After reaching the Paltuding basecamp, hike approximately 3 kilometers (about 1.5 to 2 hours) to the top of the crater. You’ll descend into the crater to witness the rare Blue Fire—a natural phenomenon caused by ignited sulfuric gases glowing bright blue in the dark.

As dawn breaks, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the turquoise-colored acid lake, the largest highly acidic crater lake in the world.

After the hike, return to your hotel for breakfast and a short rest before starting the drive back to Surabaya (approx. 6–7 hours), where the tour ends.

1. Booking and Confirmation

• Booking is confirmed only after a deposit or full payment has been received.
• A confirmation email or WhatsApp message will be sent once your payment has been verified.
• Early booking is recommended to ensure availability, especially during high season.

2. Payment Terms

• A minimum of 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 3 days before the tour date.
• Payment can be made via bank transfer, e-wallet, or other agreed-upon methods.
• All prices are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made:

  • More than 14 days before the tour: 90% refund

  • 7–14 days before the tour: 50% refund

  • Less than 7 days before the tour or no-show: No refund

• In case of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), tours may be rescheduled or refunded based on our discretion.

4. Inclusions and Exclusions

• Please refer to the tour page for detailed inclusions (accommodation, transport, guide, entrance tickets, etc.).
• Exclusions include personal expenses, tipping, optional activities, and fees not clearly stated as included.

5. Travel Insurance

• Travel insurance is not included in the tour package.
• We highly recommend that participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover personal injury, trip cancellations, or loss of belongings.

6. Health and Safety

• Participants must be in good physical condition to join the hike at Mount Bromo and Ijen.
• Those with asthma or breathing difficulties are advised to consult a doctor before participating in the Ijen Blue Fire tour due to sulfuric gas exposure.
• Gas masks will be provided during the Ijen trek.

7. Responsibility and Liability

• We are not responsible for loss, injury, damage, or delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g. weather, strikes, transportation failure).
• Any additional costs arising from delays or changes caused by natural events or other unforeseen circumstances are the responsibility of the participant.

8. Tour Modifications

• We reserve the right to modify the itinerary if necessary for the safety and comfort of guests (e.g. weather conditions, road closures, volcano activity).
• Changes will be communicated as early as possible and alternative arrangements will be made when feasible.
• 9. Peak Season Surcharge
• Additional surcharges may apply during public holidays, school vacations, or peak travel seasons (e.g. Idul Fitri, Christmas, New Year).
