• 07:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Drive to Gilimanuk Harbor, West Bali
• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Cross to Java by ferry (Gilimanuk → Ketapang, Banyuwangi)
• 12:00 PM – 01:00 AM – Drive to Paltuding Basecamp / Ijen Parking Area
• 01:00 AM – 02:30 AM – Begin the hike up to Ijen Crater Rim (approx. 3 km)
• 02:30 AM – 03:00 AM – Descend into the crater to see the Blue Fire phenomenon
• 03:00 AM – 04:00 AM – Witness and enjoy the electric-blue flames
• 04:00 AM – 05:00 AM – Hike back up to the crater rim
• 05:00 AM – 06:00 AM – Enjoy sunrise and view of the acidic turquoise lake
• 06:00 AM – 07:00 AM – Return to the parking area
• 07:00 AM – 08:00 AM – Local breakfast in a nearby café/warung
• 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM – Drive back to your hotel in Bali (Ubud)

Terms and Conditions – Mount Ijen Tour from Bali (1 Day)

1. Booking & Payment

• A minimum 24-hour booking confirmation is required prior to the tour date.

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable in cash upon pick-up or via transfer before the tour date.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash in IDR.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellation more than 7 days before tour date: Full refund.

• Cancellation 3–6 days before tour date: 50% refund of deposit.

• Cancellation less than 3 days before tour date or no-show: No refund.

• In case of force majeure (natural disasters, weather, ferry closure, etc.), we will offer a reschedule or partial refund.

3. Tour Requirements

• This tour requires a moderate level of physical fitness due to nighttime hiking and steep terrain.

• Participants must be at least 7 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• This tour is not recommended for guests with asthma, heart conditions, or severe respiratory problems due to sulfur gas exposure.

4. What to Bring

• Warm jacket or layered clothing (temperatures can reach 5–10°C)

• Trekking shoes with good grip

• Headlamp or flashlight (provided if needed)

• Mask or gas mask (provided)

• Snacks, water, and personal medication

5. Health & Safety

• A professional local guide will accompany all participants during the hike.

• Gas masks will be provided for your safety during the blue fire observation.

• Please follow guide instructions at all times, especially when entering the crater.

• The blue fire descent may be canceled if conditions are unsafe (e.g., volcanic gas, weather). Safety comes first.

6. Travel Insurance

• Travel insurance is not included. We recommend purchasing insurance that covers adventure activities, transportation, and medical emergencies.

7. Liability

• Ijen Expedition Tour is not responsible for:

  • Personal loss or damage during the tour

  • Delays due to ferry schedules, traffic, or unforeseen conditions

  • Accidents resulting from participant negligence or failure to follow instructions

8. Ferry & Border Conditions

• The tour involves crossing from Bali to Java by ferry. Delays or cancellations may occur due to weather or port conditions. We will assist with alternative solutions where possible.
